Skopje, March 21st, 2019

The Center for Change Management and the Ministry of Information Society and Administration organized a public debate discussing the topic "How to Provide More Accessible and Quality Services to Citizens?". The debate was held on 21.03.2019 (Thursday) in Alexander Palace Hotel - Skopje.

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, addressed the attendees at the official Robotics Week launch event - Robomak 2019.

The event is organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology under "Ss.Cyril and Methodius" University, to mark 10 years since the first Robomak event and FEEIT's 60 years of existence.

Deputy Minister of Information Society and Administration, Aleksandar Bajdevski, held a meeting with European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel. The meeting was also attended by former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration of Slovenia, Boris Koprivnikar, Minister of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Kosovo, Besim Beqaj and Director of Innovation under the National Agency for Information Society of the Republic of Albania, Romina Kostani.

The Ministry of Information Society and Administration organized a public discussion on the Draft-Law on Senior Civil Service. The event included speeches of the Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, MISA's State Secretary, Jahi Jahija, and the Executive Director of the Center for Change Management, Neda Maleska Sachmaroska.

Skopje, March 12th, 2019

The three-year programme "21st Century Schools" was promoted today in Skopje. The underlying aim thereof is to contribute toward improvements in primary education in the Western Balkans and to provide pupils aged 10 - 15 with the opportunity to develop critical thinking, problem-solving and coding skills. The programme, made available with funds from the UK Government in the amount of 10 million pounds, anticipates 20 to 30 micro:bit devices (coding computers) to be delivered to all primary schools, which pupils would use to program during classes.

Today, the Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, and the Minister Without Portfolio Responsible for Communications, Accountability and Transparency, Robert Popovski, held a meeting with the Deputy-Director of Open Government Partnership Support Unit in Washington D.C., Jo Powell.

The Ministry of Information Society and Administration will organize a public discussion on the proposed text for the Law on Senior Civil Service, on March 13th at 11:00 o'clock, in the MPs' Club.

The public discussion will include speeches of the Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Manchevski, MISA's State Secretary, Jahi Jahija, and Neda Maleska Sachmaroska, Executive Director of the Center for Change Management.

The Ministry of Information Society and Administration, in cooperation with the four chambers of commerce, established a working group tasked to define criteria and select the best ICT company in the Republic of North Macedonia. The aim of the call is to select the best ICT company that would hold a 15-minute presentation at the Digital Summit, to be held on April 4th and 5th, 2019 in Belgrade.
