MISA and EPI Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

Today, the Minister of Information Society and Administration - Damjan Manchevski, and the Director of European Policy Institute - EPi, Simonida Kacarska, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The Memorandum marks continuation of cooperation in the field of public administration reform, particularly concerning implementation of the WeBER project. The project in question is intended to create an enabling environment in Western Balkan countries for monitoring of public administration reforms by civil society.

The initial findings of this project indicate progress in our country in terms of transparency of institutions, whereby efforts of the Government towards increasing transparency and accountability have been recognized.

In addition, in terms of the field of policy creation and available information about institutions's operation, after the change of government, North Macedonia notes the largest progress in comparison to all remaining Western Balkan countries. In the previous cycle, North Macedonia had a score of 0 points, whereby now that score amounts to 2 points.
