Shaqiri: Values and meritocracy will be decisive in selection and promotion of state administration employees

Today, in the premises of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, the Minister of Information Society and Administration, Dr. Jeton Shaqiri, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister in Charge of Fight Against Corruption and Crime, Ljupco Nikolovski, held a joint meeting with the chairwoman of this commission, Biljana Ivanovska.
The purpose of today's meeting was to present to this commission the amendments and new laws on Top Management Service for public sector employees and the Law on Administrative Servants, in order to meet the recommendations of the project "Corruption Vulnerability Assessment of Employment Policies and Procedures, with Special Focus on Nepotism, Clientelism and Cronyism" This is the 13th measure of the government's Anti-Corruption Plan.
At the meeting, Minister Shaqiri confirmed that all recommendations for administrative servants, public sector employees and the Law on Top Management Service, which change the procedure for employment, promotion and mobility in the public sector, have been implemented in the amendments to the laws, and are already established on ENER.
"These laws directly affect the complete depoliticization of the state administration and set the foundations of values and meritocracy to reach a certain job position or promotion. "We are determined to complete these reforms," said Minister Shaqiri at the meeting.
