Working meeting with the president of the Trade Union of the Workers in Administration, Judicial Bodies and Citizens' Associations (UPOZ) [1]

The challenges and current situation of public administration employees were topic of discussion at today's meeting between the Minister of Information Society and Administration, Admirim Aliti, and Trpe Deanoski, the president of the Union of Workers in Administration, Judicial Bodies and Citizens' Associations (UPOZ).

This Union has already established the trade union unit within MISA, and the president of this unit was presented at the meeting as a representative in MIOA.

Minister Aliti once again confirmed the common goal, that public administration remains among the main priorities of MISA and that we are fully committed to the process.

In that direction, Minister Aliti expressed readiness to maintain the social dialogue and informed that we are committed to supporting institutions, unions and all involved parties to ensure the improvement of standards for public sector employees, which is an immediate condition for the start of negotiations and the country's membership in the European Union.
